Mill Village Ministries is made up of four social enterprises: Mill Village Farms, Village Engage, Village Launch, and Village Wrench.
Dan is a resident of the Greater Sullivan community and has served on various boards including United Way of Greenville County, Habitat for Humanity, CommunityWorks, and Greenville Housing Fund. Niyi Adereti, Mill Village Farms Program Director
Niyi moved to Greenville in 2021 and is thankful to be part of the Mill Village Team helping people in the community have access to healthy fresh produce at affordable rates. He believes that every human deserves the opportunity to experience kindness, dignity and respect.
He was born and raised in Lagos Nigeria, where he completed his Bachelors in Management Technology with a major in Project Management. He moved to the United Kingdom to study for his Masters in Digital Media, where he worked as a web/graphic designer. He later moved to California where he graduated from three years of Ministry School and worked as a Minister, leading a ministry team and engaging with people in crisis situations who needed emotional, financial and spiritual support.
He spends his days enjoying his wife's cooking, keeping up with his boys, researching random ideas, and serving in his local church.
Youth Apprentices
Every summer, Spoons & Sprouts teen program graduates are hired to work on the farm. It is often their first job, and we train them in the hard skills of gardening and the soft skills of job responsibility and customer service through produce sales. A few continue to work through the school year and help coach the incoming Spoons and Sprouts students!

Sociology to understand how systems work and affect individuals. Shakyra’s love for unity and

Her passion has led her to be part of the FoodShare team where she hopes to strategize solutions for food insecurity and accessibility. She is thrilled to further serve her community alongside such an amazing team!
Outside of the office, Shakyra spends her time with her husband, Malcolm and their two daughters, Maleena and Roslyn. They are excited to be welcoming a baby boy to the family towards the end of 2024!

Suli Sorcia, FoodShare Referral Manager
Suli moved to Greenville in 2016, building connections and gaining an understanding of the diverse culture and needs within the Greenville community. Her natural ability to connect with others, her passion for health and wellness, and her strategic abilities have led Suli to many positions within the community. After graduating from the Village Launch entrepreneurship program, Suli fell in love with Mill Village Ministries. Once the opportunity surfaced, she did not hesitate to join the team. She believes her position with FoodShare allows her to be a voice to Hispanic people and help overcome language and cultural barriers.
Suli is also a Marketing and Communications student at Greenville Tech, a yoga teacher, and an assistant development coordinator at World Upside Down Arts Studio. She lives with her life partner Jamill, and their two fur babies, Pluto and FiFi.
